Alexis M. Connell is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where she will focus her practice in the areas of general liability, insurance defense, and medical malpractice and nursing home defense litigation.

Ms. Connell earned her Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law in 2006 and received a Bachelor of Arts in criminology from the University of South Florida in 2003. While in law school, she served as a teaching assistant of legal research and writing in Lawyering Process I, served as a pro bono law clerk at the Jacksonville Legal Clinic, and clerked for the law firm of Marks Gray, P.A.,

After graduating from law school, Ms. Connell served as Assistant Regional Counsel at the Office of Regional Counsel in Tampa, Florida representing indigent parties in juvenile dependency cases, primarily in Division-S of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County. In this position, she handled numerous civil litigation matters including mediation and appeals, and was successful in obtaining various dismissals. Previously, Ms. Connell was a law clerk in the Tampa and Jacksonville offices of QPWB.

Ms. Connell is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Florida. She is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar and the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.

Ms. Connell is vice president of the Florida Coastal School of Law Alumni Chapter of Tampa. She is active in her community and is a long-standing volunteer of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the American Cancer Society.
