Michael J. Rivero is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  He focuses his practice in the areas of nursing home defense litigation, long term care, professional liability and general liability.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Rivero served as an assistant public defender with the Office of the Public Defender, Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. Previously, he clerked for the Federal Trade Commission and worked for Stetson Law’s Elder Consumer Protection Program.

Mr. Rivero received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, Gulfport, Florida in May 2010 and Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in May 2006, graduating with a major in literature.  While in law school, he served as class representative and member of the student bar association.

Mr. Rivero is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar.
