Isabel R. Vrabel is of counsel in the Pensacola office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She concentrates her practice in immigration law, including employment-based immigrant petitions, family-based immigration matters, citizenship law and removal proceedings. 

Ms. Vrabel received her Juris Doctor from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil, in December 2011. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Law where she received a Master of Laws in U.S. Legal Studies in 2013.

During her studies in Brazil, she clerked for a prosecutor, where she completed pre-trial research and preparations, and authored legal motions and opinions subsequently published by the prosecutor’s office.

While attending UConn Law, she interned at the Office of the Attorney General in Connecticut, where she was responsible for attending hearings, depositions and discovery meetings, settlement conferences and in-house strategy meetings. Also, she assisted in defense of civil rights, medical malpractice and habeas corpus in federal and state courts and before executive branch administrative agencies.

After graduating from UConn Law, Ms. Vrabel worked as a legal assistant at an international law firm in New York City, reporting to the senior partner and practice area leader of the Latin America Banking and Finance Group. She assisted the group in domestic and international contracts with government agencies, construction companies and lenders on projects and project financings across energy, infrastructure and mining throughout Latin America.

Ms. Vrabel is admitted in New York. As a member of the New York Bar, she is licensed to practice immigration law nationwide. 

She is a member of the American Bar Association, New York Bar Association, and American Immigration Lawyers Association.  

Ms. Vrabel is involved with The Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church in Gulf Breeze, Florida and The Brazilian Worship Center in Pensacola, Florida. She has participated in mission trips abroad, including pro bono work in Nicaragua.

Ms. Vrabel is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
