Andrew S. Connell, Jr., is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Connell’s practice focuses in the areas of general and professional liability, including premises liability; automobile, trucking and commercial fleet defense litigation; railroad liability; and medical malpractice. He has attained the highest peer review rating of “AV” in the Martindale-Hubbell Lawyers Directory.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Connell was a junior partner at Marlow, Connell, Abrams, Adler, Newman & Lewis, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale, where he practiced in the areas of premises liability, vehicular negligence, and medical malpractice defense. Previously, he was an associate with Thornton, Davis & Murray, P.A. in Miami, and Wicker, Smith O’Hara, McCoy & Ford, P.A. in Ft. Lauderdale, where he focused in the area of insurance defense.

Mr. Connell received his Bachelor of Arts in political science in 1991 from the University of Florida, and earned his Juris Doctor in 1994 from the University of Miami School of Law.

A member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Connell is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is a member of the Trial Section of the Florida Bar, and served on the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Florida Bar from 2003-2008.

Mr. Connell served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from 1989 to 1991, and in the Florida Army National Guard from 1991-1993.
