Juan Carlos (J.C.) Garcia is a partner in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he practices in the areas of workers’ compensation defense, general liability and dental/medical malpractice defense.  He also represents clients in AHCA/Board actions before the Department of Health. In the area of workers’ compensation, Mr. Garcia regularly represents employers, carriers, self-insured companies and servicing agents, with successful trial victories in multiple jurisdictions throughout the State of Florida.

He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, School of Law in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science cum laude from Florida International University, where he majored in criminal justice. Prior to working at QPWB, Mr. Garcia relocated from Miami, Florida to the Tampa Bay Area to open and establish an office for a large defense firm. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Garcia was a Bailiff in the 11^th Judicial Circuit and also a Deputy Clerk with the Clerk in that circuit.
