Martin L. Khoury is a partner and practices in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.  His areas include insurance defense of doctors, nurses and hospitals; employment liability, automobile liability, premises liability including dog and animal bite cases; worker’s compensation, and property damage including sinkhole claims.  Mr. Khoury received a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in political science from the University of South Florida and his Juris Doctor from Stetson College of Law in 1998.

Mr. Khoury’s diverse professional background prior to law school included a number of years as a CT Technologist in a busy Level II trauma center; Director of Marketing for an international medical professional search and placement firm, and founder of a medical transcription service that served the Tampa Bay area for many years.

Mr. Khoury provides dynamic and entertaining speaking presentations to attorneys, physicians, and health care professionals on a variety of medical-legal topics, including liability avoidance, risk management, and litigation control.

Mr. Khoury is a member of The Florida Bar, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.  He serves as a Guardian ad Litem in the Broward County Fostering Independence program and on the 17th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee.
