Ryan C. Meade is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. focusing his practice on the defense and litigation of personal injury and products liability matters including catastrophic injury, throughout Florida, the U.S. Virgin Islands and New York.
In addition to handling personal and corporate interests and their insurers in connection with litigation arising out of shoreside accidents, Mr. Meade continues to utilize his experience in short sale transactions and landlord tenant issues.
Previously, Mr. Meade was an associate handling an extensive caseload for a Miami maritime and insurance defense firm. He was also with a boutique maritime and aviation firm handling U.S. customs and immigration compliance, vessel arrests, negligence, fraud, maritime contracts, jurisdictional issues, vessel documents, including off-shore flagging and stream of commerce issues, crew contracts, maritime liens and claims, aviation claims, and construction defect claims. In the U.S. Virgin Islands, he was an associate for a solo practitioner; and in New York City, he was in-house counsel and field director for the Academy Lacrosse, LLC.
Mr. Meade is a member of The Florida Bar, New York Bar and the U.S. Virgin Islands Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Mr. Meade is a graduate of Tulane University Law School; in 2004 he received his Juris Doctor and Certificate in Maritime Law recognizing his expertise in the field of maritime. He was named to the Order of Barristers as a distinguished member of the Moot Court Trial team. Prior to attending Tulane, he graduated from Auburn University where he was a three time All-American lacrosse player for the Tigers.
