
J. Lindsey Chong is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where she practices in the areas of real estate and commercial litigation, and first and third party insurance defense.
Ms. Chong earned her Juris Doctor in 2009 from Florida International University College of Law in Miami and received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts in 2006 with a major in quantitative economics and a minor in art history. She was a recurrent member of the Dean’s List at Tufts and at F.I.U. College of Law.
While in law school, Ms. Chong was actively involved in Florida International University’s Board of Advocates, where she held the position of Vice President of Appellate Affairs. She was awarded best brief at her law school’s 2007 Intramural Appellate Advocacy Competition. Ms. Chong also achieved a Book Award in her law school’s legal writing course, Legal Skills and Values I.
During law school, Ms. Chong also served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Gill S. Freeman of Miami-Dade Circuit’s business court. Her internship at the Complex Business Litigation Section focused on business torts, securities fraud, contracts and construction law.
Ms. Chong is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar. She is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Chong was an attorney at a boutique law firm in Miami practicing in the areas of general business and commercial litigation.
