David S. Mitchell is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he practices in the areas of  insurance and general liability defense, including personal injury, premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, automobile liability, and negligent security defense.

Mr. Mitchell received his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2009 and a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2004 from Tufts University College of Arts and Sciences at Medford, Massachusetts.

During law school, Mr. Mitchell served as President of the University of Florida Trial Team.  He was the recipient of the Legal Drafting Book Award, selected as a Trial Practice Teaching Assistant, and selected as a recipient of the Order Of The Barristers Award.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Mitchell was an intern with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s office, Felony Division.  Mr. Mitchell also worked as a law clerk at a Gainesville, Florida law office, allowing him to work under former Judge Larry G Turner, assisting in civil, criminal, and white-collar law cases.

Mr. Mitchell is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar.

Mr. Mitchell is a national champion and national medalist figure skater.  Along with his skating partner, he was the 2000 United States Novice Champion, 2002 United States Junior Champion, and 2004 United States Bronze Medalist at the Championship level.
