Ryan A. Lossius is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. and is a member of the firm’s general liability defense practice, where he focuses in the areas of premises liability, medical malpractice, professional malpractice and nursing home defense litigation.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Lossius was an assistant state attorney with the Pinellas County State Attorney’s Office in Clearwater, Florida.  Since 2004, he effectively handled an extensive caseload of misdemeanor and felony cases, including 38 jury trials and 23 bench trials as first chair attorney.  Mr. Lossius also handled and attended Baker Act hearings and supervised local ordinance violations.

Mr. Lossius received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science cum laude from the University of Florida in 2001, where he majored in exercise and sport sciences and was a member of the Golden Key Honor Society.

Mr. Lossius is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar.
