Carroll is a partner in the Louisville, Kentucky office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., Mr. Carroll is an experienced civil and criminal trial attorney focusing his practice in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice, personal injury litigation, white collar criminal defense, general criminal defense, banking litigation, general civil litigation, and class action litigation.

Mr. Carroll is a former Assistant Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Texas at Dallas and the Eastern District of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  Mr. Carroll has been a practicing attorney for over 25 years and has extensive experience defending white collar criminal cases including complex bank fraud cases and is also an experienced civil trial attorney in the practice areas of insurance defense and personal injury litigation.  He also served as a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the United States Naval Reserve, active duty.

Mr. Carroll received his Bachelor of Arts in 1979 from the College of Wooster at Ohio and his Juris Doctor from Akron University Law School in 1983, where he was a member of the Law Review.

Mr. Carroll is licensed to practice law in Kentucky, West Virginia and Indiana.
