Marie E. Masson is a partner in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Masson concentrates her practice in the areas of workers’ compensation defense, insurance defense, commercial litigation, and general liability.  She has represented a variety of employers throughout all counties in the state of Florida, principally in the Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Port St. Lucie venues.

Since entering private practice in 2001, Ms. Masson has focused in the areas of workers’ compensation defense and insurance defense.  She handles all aspects of trial litigation, as well as appeals.  Previously, she was an intern clerk with the Supreme Court of Florida during the elaboration of the 2000 Presidential election case, where she gained valuable experience as the Court provided clarifications requested by the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Masson received her Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico in 1996 and her Juris Doctor from Florida State University in 2000.

Ms. Masson is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Florida.  Her professional affiliations include The Florida Bar (Workers’ Compensation Section and Trial Lawyers Section), Hispanic National Bar Association, Puerto Rican Bar Association of Florida, and the American Bar Association.

Ms. Masson is fluent in Spanish.
