Tiffany Lauderdale Phillips is a partner in the Lexington, Kentucky office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Her practice focuses on long-term care defense, medical malpractice defense, mediation and alternative dispute resolution.  Ms. Phillips represents clients throughout all phases of the litigation process.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Phillips was an attorney with a Lexington law firm where she was a member of the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice groups working in health care law, product liability, construction, personal injury and professional liability defense.  Before entering into private practice, she served as Staff Attorney for Fayette Circuit Judge Rebecca M. Overstreet.

Ms. Phillips is a general civil mediator on the Judge’s referral list with the Kentucky Court of Justice.  She completed her general civil mediation training through the Administrative Offices of the Court in 2003.  She has been recognized on multiple occasions by the Fayette Circuit and District Courts for outstanding service as a mediator.  Ms. Phillips has volunteered for the Administrative Office of the Courts, training other mediators.  She has served as a mediator for Fayette Circuit Settlement Week since 2003 and has volunteered as a Fayette District Court Mediator.

Ms. Phillips is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.  Ms. Phillips received her Juris Doctor from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2002 and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in International Studies from the College of Charleston in 1999.  In 1998, she studied International Relations at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England.

Ms. Phillips is a member of the Fayette County and the Kentucky Bar Associations, the Fayette County Women Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute.  She is Chair of the Fayette County Bar Health Lawyer’s section.  In 2006, she was appointed to the Kentucky Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Section’s Membership and CLE committees, and served as chair of the Membership Committee.

Ms. Phillips is a frequent presenter of continuing legal education seminars on the topics of long-term care litigation for the National Business Institute as well as other CLE organizations.

Ms. Phillips is an active contributor to her professional and cultural community.  Ms. Phillips has served on the Public Relations Committee of the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities, The Centenary School Parent Board, Kentucky Women Writers Conference Executive Board and as Junior Achievement Job Shadow program mentor.
