Michael Brandon Faulkner is an associate in the Lexington, Kentucky office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  His practice focuses on long-term care defense, nursing home defense litigation, medical malpractice defense, personal injury, professional liability defense and criminal defense.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Faulkner was an associate at a Lexington law firm where his practice focused on the areas of litigation, long-term care defense, medical malpractice, professional liability, insurance defense, real estate and commercial law.  Before entering private practice he was an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney with the Office of the Fayette Commonwealth’s Attorney, where he gained valuable jury trial experience through three years of practice while focusing primarily on gang and narcotics related prosecutions.

Mr. Faulkner received his Juris Doctor from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2007 and his Bachelor of Arts from Birmingham-Southern College with a major in political science in 2003.  While in law school, he served as a prosecutorial intern at the Fayette Commonwealth Attorney’s Office and completed a federal judicial externship in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, Covington Division.

Mr. Faulkner is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mr. Faulkner is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Fayette County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute and American Health Lawyers Association.

Mr. Faulkner supports his community through his service as a director of the Lexington Charity Club and as a member of the Rotaract Club of Lexington.
