Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Suarez was an attorney at a Fort Lauderdale law office where she was involved in construction defect defense, principally handling Chinese drywall litigation. She has worked in South Florida as an associate attorney, defending medical malpractice, legal malpractice and other professional liability cases. Previously, she managed numerous personal injury files and assisted with pre-litigation phase settlement negotiations on behalf of plaintiffs.
Ms. Suarez received her Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Boston University in 2001 where she majored with two degrees, in English Literature, and in Spanish and Hispanic Literature; and received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 2005. While in law school, she clerked for a local law office where she gained experience preparing personal injury cases for trial and providing case analysis and presentation of evidence.
Ms. Suarez is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar.
Ms Suarez is proficient in Spanish.
