Alejandro “Alex” J. Gonzalez is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he practices in the areas of general liability defense, commercial transportation litigation defense, premises liability, and personal injury defense.  Mr. Gonzalez also has extensive experience in the areas of Admiralty and Maritime law including representing cruise lines, marine insurance underwriters, protection and indemnity insurance clubs, and recreational and commercial vessel owners.  He has defended against various maritime claims in Florida Courts, and globally in arbitration, including:  Jones Act negligence, unseaworthiness, maintenance and cure, and failure to treat.

Mr. Gonzalez received his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University, School of Law, in Bristol, Rhode Island in 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida in 2000.

Mr. Gonzalez is licensed to practice law in Florida and is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.

His professional memberships include: The Florida Bar, Broward County Bar Association, Miami-Dade County Bar Association, and American Bar Association (where he is member of the Litigation, Insurance, International Law and Tort Trial Practice Sections).
