John F. Meade is an associate in the Fort Myers office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., and concentrates his practice in the areas of general liability, premises liability, and first party property claims. Mr. Meade regularly provides analysis of insurance coverage disputes involving interpretation of risk and scope of coverage. He has addressed legal issues arising out of insurance claims for property damage associated with various perils and commonly works with engineers, forensic accountants, and fire safety experts necessary to the insurance claim investigation, adjustment, and coverage analysis. Mr. Meade’s practice also includes workers’ compensation defense.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Meade practiced with an insurance defense law firm in Fort Myers, where his responsibilities included handling automobile negligence claims, personal injury actions, and property damage claims. And previously, he practiced with a civil litigation law firm in Sarasota, Fla., handling workers’ compensation defense claims.
Mr. Meade received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, Massachusetts in 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1993. While in law school, he worked with the Boston office of Zurich Staff Legal Services; as a senior paralegal, he attended workers’ compensation hearings, small claims hearings, and trials.
Mr. Meade is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar.
