Mary Catherine Lamoureux is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where her practice is predominately focused on first and third party insurance defense in state and federal courts.  She has extensively represented insurance companies in various phases of their defense of all types of property disputes including sinkhole claims.  She has also represented commercial clients in contract disputes and assisted them with compliance issues.

Ms. Lamoureux has taught as an adjunct professor at Hillsborough Community College and University of Tampa.

Ms. Lamoureux received her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, New York City in 1987 and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Yale University in 1984, where she was chief aide for noted Art History Professor Robert Farris Thompson.

Ms. Lamoureux is licensed to practice law in Florida; she is a member of The Florida Bar, New York State Bar, State Bar of Texas, and Connecticut Bar Association, and is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
