Jeanette A. Bellon is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where she practices in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, nursing home and assisted-living facility defense, professional malpractice, premises liability, commercial litigation, general liability, and appellate practice.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Bellon was an associate attorney with various law firms in South Florida focusing on litigation, trial support and appellate advocacy.  Her experience includes second chairing a professional malpractice trial and appearing as appellate counsel for clients at trial and on appeal. Ms. Bellon has also handled cases in the areas of defamation and trusts and estates.

Ms. Bellon received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, PA, in 2007, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts summa cum laude from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1997, concentrating in film studies and theatre.  While in law school, she served as a certified legal intern in criminal defense with the Allegheny County Office of Conflict Counsel in Pittsburg, PA, where she second-chaired numerous trials and obtained acquittals in cases involving attempted homicide and homicide. Prior to law school, Ms. Bellon worked exclusively in the film and television industries as a television commercial producer and film professor.

Ms. Bellon is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.  She is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
