Prior to joining Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., Mr. Walton was affiliated with two different Jacksonville area firms from 2004 to 2010, practicing in the areas of real estate and construction related litigation, and professional liability litigation.
Mr. Walton began his legal career with the United States Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG Corps) in 2000. He continues to serve in Navy Reserve JAG program, and recently completed a one year mobilization and deployment in support of detainee operations in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. In connection with his naval service, Mr. Walton has been awarded the Joint Services Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (twice).
Mr. Walton is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar and Jacksonville Bar Association. He is also admitted in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Walton received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Claremont McKenna College in 1994.
