Gwendolyn D. Prioleau is of counsel with the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.   Her practice encompasses a broad spectrum of matters involving energy, the environment, renewable technology, telecommunications, and complex litigation.  Ms. Prioleau represents businesses, municipalities, and governmental agencies.

Ms. Prioleau has an extensive environmental and energy law background including both private practice and government service experience.  She has served on the board of the U.S. Department of Energy State Energy Advisory Board (STEAB), appointed by the Secretary of Energy, U.S. Department of Energy.  For a number of years, she was a trial, advisory, and supervisory attorney with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), handling oil and gas pipeline rate cases.  While at FERC, she also drafted regulations to implement legislation and presented oral argument before agency commissioners and administrative law judges.

Ms. Prioleau received her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Ms. Prioleau is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and in Maryland.  She is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the U.S. Supreme Court.  She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, and American Bar Association where she has held several positions on the Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy Law Committee.
