Jason B. Onacki is an associate in the Pensacola office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He represents businesses, governmental entities, and individuals in all forms of civil litigation, including trials and appeals in state and federal courts, alternative dispute resolution proceedings, and administrative law processes. His experience includes defending against claims alleging personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights violations, contract disputes, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, violations of labor laws, and land use disputes.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Onacki was a litigation associate with a Pensacola law firm handling a variety of trial and appellate issues in multiple state and federal jurisdictions. His experience also includes work as an associate with a litigation firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. Onacki received his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from the University of New Hampshire in 1997, being named a University Liberal Arts Student Fellow and graduating with a major in political science. Mr. Onacki attended law school under a scholarship from the New England Board of Higher Education. He served as a staff editor for the Ocean Coastal Law Journal and worked for the general counsel of an interstate utilities company. He also clerked with the state courts in Connecticut and Georgia as well as federal courts in Georgia and Florida.
Mr. Onacki is licensed to practice law in Florida and Georgia and is a member of The Florida Bar and State Bar of Georgia. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
