Tanaz Salehi is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Her practice areas include product liability, personal injury, negligent security, construction defects, wrongful death, and automobile negligence cases. She has also defended cases involving homeowners association law, condominium law, commercial litigation, Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, wage and hour claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Fair Housing Act, bankruptcy claims, breach of contract cases, and employment discrimination claims under Title VII. Ms. Salehi has successfully obtained numerous dismissals in complex litigation matters and personal injury cases through motions for summary judgment and motions for sanctions. She has also defended and won several appellate briefs, submitted to Florida’s Third District Court of Appeals.
Ms. Salehi received her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law, Miami, Florida in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 2001. She was a member of the Dean’s List both in law school and during her undergraduate studies.
Ms. Salehi is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar. She is a candidate for admission to the State Bar of California, having successfully passed the California State Bar examination.
An active member of her community, Ms. Salehi dedicates her time as a mentor to homeless youths while working with StandUp for Kids in Miami.
Ms. Salehi is fluent in Farsi and proficient in Turkish.
