Michael J. Ponzo is an associate in the Phoenix, Arizona office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P. A.  His experience includes civil, commercial and appellate litigation.  Mr. Ponzo’s practice is emphasized in the areas of general and complex civil litigation, personal injury defense, construction defects, insurance defense, medical malpractice, product liability and appeals.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Ponzo spent more than 20 years working in the electronics industry holding senior management positions in operations, marketing, engineering and strategic planning. In 1980, he received dual engineering degrees from Syracuse University in New York: a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Engineering.

Mr. Ponzo received his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law in 2010 and Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business in 1984.

Mr. Ponzo is licensed to practice law in Arizona and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona.  He is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.

Mr. Ponzo is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association, Scottsdale Bar Association and Arizona Association of Defense Counsel.
