James P. Clements, Jr., is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. His practice areas include premises liability, insurance defense, medical malpractice, nursing home defense, and construction litigation.
Mr. Clements earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 2000 at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and received his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2008. While in law school, he received Book Award honors in Trial Practice and Advance Legal Research. Mr. Clements served as president of the University of Florida Trial Team. Additionally, he also served as a law school mentor and as a teaching assistant to the Trial Practice course.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Clements was a Certified Legal Intern for the Virgil Hawkins Pro Se Clinic at the University of Florida where his duties included advising and assisting clients with family law cases.
Mr. Clements is admitted to practice law in Florida. He is a member of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division.
