Martin
L. Khoury is a partner at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. and practices from the firm's Fort Lauderdale office. His areas of practice include employment liability, insurance defense, hospitals, nursing home defense litigation, and medical malpractice. A graduate of the University of South Florida, where he received, with honors, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1988, Mr. Khoury earned a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 1998.
Mr. Khoury's diverse professional background prior to law school included a number of years as a CT Technologist in a busy Level II trauma center, Director of Marketing for an international medical professional search and placement firm, and founder of a medical transcription service that served the Tampa Bay area for many years.
Mr. Khoury is a regular columnist in Advance for Imaging Professionals, an industry trade magazine. He also provides dynamic speaking presentations to attorneys, physicians, and health care professionals on a variety of medical-legal topics, including liability avoidance, risk management, and litigation control.
Mr. Khoury is a member of The Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association, the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
