Steven M. Lury is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He practices in all areas of general liability with special emphasis in medical malpractice defense and nursing home litigation. Since 1988, he has concentrated his practice to the defense of health care professionals, hospitals and nursing homes, and not-for-profit group homes for mentally challenged individuals. Mr. Lury also represents health care professionals before the Florida Department of Health regarding licensure issues.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Lury was with the law firm of Conroy, Simberg et al., in Hollywood, Florida and was previously a partner with the law firm of Santone, Eyler and Lury in Boca Raton, Florida.
Mr. Lury received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia in 1987 and his B.A. from the University of Rhode Island; Kingston, Rhode Island in 1980.
Mr. Lury is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
