Michael
C. Moore is the Managing Partner for the Mississippi office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. His areas of practice
include insurance defense, medical malpractice, nursing
home defense litigation, mass tort asbestos litigation,
general civil and workers compensation defense.
A graduate of Millsaps
College in Mississippi, he received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Biology in 1995. In 2000, Mr. Moore earned
a Juris Doctorate from the Mississippi College School
of Law in Jackson, where he graduated cum laude.
Prior to joining the
firm, Mr. Moore served as a law clerk for the Honorable
Leslie Southwick, Presiding judge of the Mississippi
Court of Appeals. He has also practiced in the area
of mass tort asbestos litigation, civil litigation and
insurance defense with other Mississippi area firms.
Mr. Moore joined the firm in 2003.
Mr. Moore is a member
of the American Bar Association, Mississippi Bar and
Jackson Young Lawyers. He also serves as Vice President
and Treasurer of the Eric Dampier Foundation, which
provides sports and recreational opportunities to economically
disadvantage children.
