Thomas E. Neale is a partner in the Ft. Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Neale’s practice as a trial lawyer covers a wide range of cases, including product liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation matters. He has tried a number of cases to a jury verdict and is licensed to practice in state courts in Florida and North Carolina.
Mr. Neale has extensive experience in handling insurance litigation and in the defense of product liability, personal injury, and wrongful death lawsuits. These lawsuits have included claims for breach of warranty, negligence and strict liability involving automobiles, boats, heavy equipment, and other products.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Neale practiced from his own law firm in Deerfield Beach, Fla., where he represented insurance carriers and their insureds in numerous matters. He also provided litigation support on all insurance matters, including general liability and property claims, personal and commercial automobile liability claims, premises liability claims, subrogation claims, and negligent security claims.
Mr. Neale has been licensed as a certified mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida in both circuit and county courts. In 2003, he was selected and invited to join the Outstanding Lawyers of America, an exclusive network of attorneys. Mr. Neale holds the highest peer recognition rating “AV” for ethical standards and legal ability assigned by Martindale-Hubbell law directory.
In 1971 Mr. Neale earned his Bachelor’s degree from The Principia College, and in 1975 he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law.
Mr. Neale is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida and North Carolina state bars, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
