Elaine C. Seymour is a partner at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. and practices from the firm’s Tampa office. Her areas of practice include a wide range of general liability cases including personal injury, nursing home, medical malpractice, slander and libel, employment discrimination, construction defects, negligent security, premises liability, fire/products liability, contracts and condominium association litigation. Ms. Seymour handles all aspects of discovery, trial and appeals.

Ms. Seymour is a graduate of the University of Florida, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in 1992. In 1995, Ms. Seymour earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Stetson University College of Law. Ms. Seymour became a member of the Florida Bar and began her legal career in 1995 at the law firm of Harllee, Porges, Hamlin and Hamrick in Bradenton, Florida. In 1997, she joined the firm of Carson, Guemmer and Nicholson in Tampa, as an associate. In 1998, that firm dissolved and the new firm of Guemmer and Seymour began. In March of 2008, Ms. Seymour joined Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. as a partner.

Ms. Seymour is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida including the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit and the Florida Supreme Court. Further, Ms. Seymour became a certified Circuit and County Mediator in July of 2007.

Ms. Seymour is a member of the Hillsborough Association of Woman Lawyers, and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
