Leah E. Selinger is an associate in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice in the areas of nursing home, long term care and premises liability defense litigation.  Ms. Selinger’s practice also includes insurance coverage disputes, personal injury actions, automobile negligence, wrongful death, and products liability.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Selinger was founder and owner of a Chicago law practice. Her experience in general civil litigation includes representing both defendants and plaintiffs in state and federal courts in cases involving personal injury, insurance defense and coverage disputes, construction litigation, real estate, leasing management, and federal civil rights violations.  In addition, Ms. Selinger has represented criminal defendants in a variety of matters. Previously, as an attorney with a Chicago law firm, she managed the litigation of a varied and extensive caseload involving personal injury, premises liability, federal civil rights, medical malpractice litigation and criminal cases, where she acted as first and second chair trial attorney in over 10 federal and state trials. Ms. Selinger has also drafted a number of appellate court briefs in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals concerning various aspects of insurance coverage issues.

Ms. Selinger received her Juris Doctor from Chicago Kent College of Law in May 2008 and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in May 2004 graduating with a major in political science. While in law school, she was a member of the Dean’s List and served as a legal extern for the City of Chicago Law Department.

Ms. Selinger is licensed to practice law in Illinois. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and is admitted to the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
