Stephanie Lynn McCoy

Stephanie Lynn McCoy is a partner in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  Ms. McCoy focuses her practice in the areas of civil litigation, including general liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, and nursing home defense.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. McCoy was a litigation and foreclosure associate attorney with a multistate law firm servicing the mortgage banking industry in Central Florida, where she managed an extensive caseload of litigated foreclosure files.

Ms. McCoy received her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida in 2012 and Bachelor of Arts from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio in 2006. While in law school, Ms. McCoy was a Certified Legal Intern at the Children and Families Clinic and served as a Volunteer Advocate for Children for the Legal Aid Society of OCBA. She also served as a Student Bar Senator and as a volunteer on the Student Panel for Prospective Students. Ms. McCoy received a Book Award in Civil Procedure I and an Honors Certificate in the Children and Family Law Program.

Ms. McCoy participates as a volunteer attorney for the Orange County VALOR Project, providing legal consultations to U.S. Military veterans. She also enjoys mentoring law students through the Mentor/Mentee Program of YLS.

Ms. McCoy is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar. Her affiliations include the Orange County Bar Association and Defense Research Institute (DRI).
