Christopher E. Brown is a partner in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  He practices in the areas of commercial and administrative litigation with an emphasis on health law, professional licensure hearings and investigations, and the defense of nursing homes and assisted-living facilities.  

Mr.  Brown has extensive experience in the practice of health law.  He served as counsel in a number of state, federal, and administrative health law cases.  He has represented clients in Florida Department of Health investigations, regulatory board proceedings, fraud and abuse claims, audits, professional licensing and medical staff matters, and issues related to business arrangements.  He also has significant experience handling fraud and reimbursement cases involving Medicare and Medicaid.  

Mr. Brown received his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, Orlando, Florida in 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts from Coastal Carolina University, Conway, South Carolina in 2005.

Mr. Brown is licensed to practice law in Florida.  He is an active member of the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar and the American Health Lawyers Association, and is a frequent presenter on issues related to false claims, fraud and abuse, Medicare and Medicaid, and managed care liability.  He is also certified to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and in 2015 was named a Pro Bono Champion by the American Health Lawyers Association for his work recovering disability benefits for disabled veterans.
