Jessica A. Cauley is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. she focuses in the areas of general liability and insurance defense relating to first-party property claims including extra-contractual matters, insurance coverage and bad faith actions regarding claims for windstorm, sinkhole, water, mold, fire and theft losses; her practice also includes handling automobile liability, premises liability, negligent security, and product liability matters.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Cauley worked as an associate attorney to a regional law firm focusing on the defense of health care providers, handling cases involving state statutes, nursing home and assisted living defense, medical malpractice, premises liability and general civil defense.
Ms. Cauley earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, Gulfport, Florida in May 2018 and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in May 2015, graduating with a major in economics and minors in entrepreneurship and business administration. While in law school, she was a campus Ambassador and Bar Association representative, student library assistant, research assistant for adjunct professors, and served as a running instructor. She also worked as a law clerk at an insurance law office, and at a regional litigation firm as a certified legal intern assisting with domestic violence cases.
