Matthew A. Jordan is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He practices in the areas of general liability representing insurance carriers and their insureds in all phases of pretrial claims, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations; and medical malpractice defense, representing physicians, health professionals and hospitals; he also focuses on matters concerning premise liability, professional liability, and product liability.
Before joining QPWB, Mr. Jordan was assistant public defender to the Ninth Circuit Public Defender’s Office, Kissimmee, Florida for almost three years where he handled multitudes of cases ranging from misdemeanors, to juvenile and up to felony level offenses.
Mr. Jordan received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May 2016 and a Bachelor of Science cum laude from the University of Florida in May 2013, graduating with a major in political science.
While in law school, he received certificates in criminal justice and pro bono service and worked as a law clerk for a regional law firm assisting the criminal and civil law divisions. He also served as a certified legal intern to the Eighth Circuit Public Defender’s Office, Gainesville, Florida.
