Bradley D. Holt is a partner in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He has over 20 years of experience representing clients in complex litigation (including dispute resolution, counseling, and regulatory compliance matters). He handles cases from intake through settlement or trial in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies and state licensing boards.
Mr. Holt has significant experience in the representation of physicians, hospitals, dentists, and nursing homes, and he has successfully represented individuals in cases of data breach and defamation over the internet; corporations in environmental, land use, and commercial litigation; and individuals and insurers in coverage disputes.
He has successfully litigated complex, multi-million dollar cases alleging wrongful death; wrongful life; birth injury; robotic, laparoscopic and open surgical injuries; pathology and radiology interpretations; professional negligence claims against mental health providers; hospital and insurance credentialing disputes; toxic tort and environmental exposure claims (including CERCLA, MTBE/groundwater, coal tar, asbestos, lead paint, and mold claims); and commercial and property damage claims. He has experience advising clients on regulatory compliance and risk management concerns, and he speaks and writes about these topics.
Immediately prior to joining QPWB, he was General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer of a high-tech startup company working to develop, fund, and promote a blockchain-based platform involving ERC-20 and 721 tokens and an SEC-compliant funding strategy.
Prior to relocating to Chicago Mr. Holt was in private practice with the Manchester, New Hampshire and Boston-based law firms Devine, Millimet & Branch and Nelson, Kinder + Mosseau.
Mr. Holt received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 1995 and Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College, New Hampshire in 1986.
Mr. Holt is licensed to practice law in Illinois, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Holt retired with the senate-confirmed rank of Captain after 30 years of combined active and reserve service. This included active duty aboard Atlantic and Pacific-based destroyers, tours on two NATO staffs overseas, and a tour as Deputy Director and (interim) Director of Operations for CJTF-Horn of Africa, based in Djibouti; as a drilling reservist he served as Commanding Officer and Executive Officer of several reserve units.
