Pierre G. Mina is an associate in the firm’s Business, Financial Services & Real Estate Division and is located in the Fort Lauderdale office. Mr. Mina has a diverse practice and handles matters that arise from or relate to the following areas: financial services; bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and workouts, collections, real estate litigation; real estate transactions; insurance defense; construction litigation; business disputes; and premises liability.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Mina worked as a civil litigation attorney at two law firms representing major creditors and lenders in legal proceedings within small claims, county and circuit court. Previously, he was a managing member and managing attorney to a family law and immigration law office handling its finances, operations and administration procedures. He also was an attorney to two large foreclosure litigation firms where he attended hearings on various contested, evidentiary and uncontested motions including code enforcement, probate and bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Mina received his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010 and a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan in 2015. While in law school, he held an externship at the Public Defender’s Office, Saint Augustine, Florida researching and analyzing legal issues and drafting memoranda.
Mr. Mina is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.
