Ramon Vazquez is a partner in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  Mr. Vazquez is a trial attorney with over 20 years of experience in state and federal courts throughout Florida and Puerto Rico. He has a broad background civil litigation with his practice emphasized in the areas of appellate law, insurance defense, governmental liability defense, civil rights defense (42 U.S.C. § 1983), commercial litigation, labor and employment law, construction defect, personal injury defense, premises liability, and administrative law.

In 1995 Mr. Vazquez commenced his legal career in Puerto Rico as a sole practitioner focusing on civil litigation and insurance law.  He later joined a regional law firm and practiced in all of his current areas of practice.  He moved to Central Florida in 1999 and in 2000 and began practice with an Orlando law office.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Vazquez was a partner with a Maitland, Florida law office where he successfully represented multiple clients from file inception through trial and appeals, as well as before administrative agencies, i.e. U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Florida Commission on Human Relations, continually producing favorable, reasonable, and cost-effective results for his clients.

Mr. Vazquez received his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 1994 and Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico in 1989. 

Mr. Vazquez is licensed to practice law in Florida and Puerto Rico and is a member of The Florida Bar and Puerto Rico Bar. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida; the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First and Eleventh Circuits; and the U.S. Supreme Court.

He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and Florida Association of Police Attorneys.

Mr. Vazquez served in the U.S. Air Force /Air National Guard for eight years, starting as an airman and finishing his military service as a commissioned officer.

Mr. Vazquez is committed to helping his community in Central Florida and performs pro bono work as a guardian ad litem for the Orange County Bar Association. 

Mr. Vazquez was born in New York City and has lived and practiced law in Florida and Puerto Rico.  He is fully bilingual in both English and Spanish.
