Kathrine E. Conroy is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  She concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance defense, first-party property claims stemming from insurance coverage disputes, policy interpretation, and the application of policy exclusions arising from a wide variety of insurance products including general liability, automobile liability, premises liability, and professional liability. Ms. Conroy has experience defending personal injury protection claims (PIP) and handling medical benefits matters. During her career, she has obtained numerous voluntary dismissals and has practiced as lead attorney in numerous jury and bench trials.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Conroy was a civil litigation associate to a regional law firm handling P.I.P. matters, family law, breach of contract and landlord and tenant issues.  She also worked as a litigation associate to a personal injury law office formulating and executing legal strategies and negotiating settlement within authority conferred by insurance company representatives obtaining voluntary dismissals in 19 cases.  Previously, she was an associate attorney to a family, business and contract litigation firm and appearance attorney to a civil law office advocating for clients’ legal positions in county and circuit court proceedings, negotiating pretrial mediations when necessary.

Ms. Conroy received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center and Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, with majors in political science and philosophy.  While in law school, she held a fellowship to Rebecca Knox Public Interest Law and was a member of the Environmental Law Clinic Program. 

She is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. 

In her community, she serves as Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks – DeLand #1463 and is a board member of the DeLand Police Department’s Police Athletic League and Haven Hospice Community Advisory.  She was also nominated for the 2019 Notable Noles Young Alumni Award.
