Lauren S. Spicer is an associate in the Memphis, Tennessee office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice on all aspects of litigation in the representation of physicians, hospitals, and long-term care providers in medical malpractice, administrative appeals and conservatorships in addition to the representation of insurance providers and other businesses in insurance defense, general liability, personal injury and commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Spicer was a senior analyst for a venture capital firm focused in healthcare, biotech, and medical device. She analyzed and reviewed legal documents pertaining to investments and funding including but not limited to stock purchase agreements, articles of incorporation, and operating and shareholder agreements; she also advised on strategy for FDA approvals, product pricing, intellectual property matters and handled compliance and reporting required by the Tennessee Small Business Investment Company Credit Act.
Ms. Spicer received her Juris Doctor from The University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in May 2011 and Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University, Alabama, in May 2008, graduating with a major in History.
