Brenda E. Carpenter is an associate in the Pensacola office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  She focuses on commercial litigation in the areas of default services including loss mitigation, residential and commercial foreclosures, bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, REO closing and title services, real estate litigation including eviction, asset recovery actions, documentation of leases, loans and secured transactions, landlord/tenant disputes and debt collection matters.

She is an experienced litigation attorney whose practice also consists of general mass tort litigation, product liability, insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, and wills, trusts, guardianships and probate law. Ms. Carpenter is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. 

She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in May 1999 and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Master of Science in Public Relations in August 1996 and Bachelor of Science in August 1989. 

Ms. Carpenter is licensed to practice law in Florida and Oklahoma and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida; the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida; the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma; and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.  She is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator.

She serves as an adjunct instructor at the Pensacola State College Department of English and Communications.
