Timothy A. Robinson is an associate in the Dallas office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  His practice is focused in commercial litigation, mortgage foreclosure actions, financial collections litigation including state and federal regulatory compliance with CFPB requirements, FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, HIPAA, FNMA, and HUD regulations. Mr. Robinson assists banking and other financial service providers in regulatory, enforcement and litigation matters related to mortgage servicing, mortgage origination, debt collection and title insurance.

Mr. Robinson’s practice also includes handling insurance defense matters and coverage disputes, and general liability and negligence claims involving medical malpractice, nursing home defense, catastrophic injuries, premises liability, automotive liability, products liability, and toxic tort claims.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Robinson was an attorney with a financial services law firm in Chicago known for representing banks, investors, loan servicers and financial institutions in collecting debts and recovering and liquidating collateral.  Previously, he was founding managing attorney of his law practice in Grapevine, Texas handling personal injury, insurance litigation, consumer litigation and representing businesses in general civil litigation and appeals. 

Mr. Robinson received his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2012 and Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008, graduating with a major in criminology and criminal justice.

He is licensed to practice law in Texas and Illinois.

Mr. Robinson spent six years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a non-commissioned officer, aviation technician. He has received the Marine Corps Reserve Medal (award twice), the National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.
