Aleksandra Hodowany is an associate in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  She is a member of the Long-Term Care Practice Group where she focuses on the defense of physicians, nurses, other health care providers, skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, handling medical malpractice claims and other personal injury matters.  Ms. Hodowany also focuses her practice in the areas of commercial and employment litigation.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Hodowany served as a judicial law clerk with the Circuit Court of Cook County. She also worked as an associate attorney for a regional real estate law office in Chicago handling closings, negotiating contractual disputes, preparing purchase agreements, and title and transfer documents. She was also a mortgage consultant, generating approximately $2.5 million in monthly mortgage sales.  In addition, and for almost 10 years, she was vice president of a construction and gut rehab company where she managed construction projects, oversaw property management including rentals to the Chicago Housing Authority and handled evictions.

Ms. Hodowany received her Juris Doctor cum laude from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, in May 2017 and Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College, Chicago, in September 1999, graduating with a major in film directing and producing. While in law school she was a member of the moot court and the Law Review. 

In her community, and as an activist of the East Garfield Park Community, she advocates for the improvement of distressed buildings, working closely with the Chicago Corporation Council and the Chicago Police Board to address the enforcement of building codes.

Ms. Hodowany is licensed to practice law in Illinois.

Ms. Hodowany is a former artist, filmmaker, director and producer who has worked on numerous film sets in the commercial art industry in Chicago.

She is fluent in Polish and conversational in German.
