Sammy H. Hamed is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he practices in the areas of long-term care defense, medical malpractice defense, and general liability defense; including premises liability, negligent security, automobile negligence, and wrongful death matters.
As a student attorney, Mr. Hamed served in the Civil Advocacy Clinic representing low-income residents of the District of Columbia and Maryland with claims involving wage theft, employment matters, consumer protection, and labor law issues.
Mr. Hamed received his Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law in May 2019 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida in May 2016, graduating with a major in political science.
During law school, he served as technical editor of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law he was also senior staff member of the National Security Law Brief. Mr. Hamed clerked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Washington, D.C., reviewing veteran’s claims and appeals; he also interned with the Federal Circuit Bar Association assisting the Amicus Committee with pending cases set before the Federal Circuit and Supreme Court.
Mr. Hamed is licensed to practice law in Florida.
