Michael H. Park is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., handling commercial litigation and focusing in the areas of employment law, insurance defense litigation, bodily injury defense including slip and fall claims, and general liability concerning first-party property coverage and defense, third-party claims and casualty matters, construction accident claims, automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability and negligent security.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Park was an associate with a litigation boutique law firm in Miami specializing in complex commercial litigation, criminal defense, and catastrophic injuries, where he handled personal injury and product liability cases, and conducted mediation hearings in breach of contract matters. Previously, he served as an assistant public defender with the Palm Beach Public Defender, representing clients in over 30 jury trials ranging from misdemeanors to first degree felonies.
Mr. Park received his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in May 2015 and Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Lewis University, Romeoville, Illinois in May 2012, graduating with double majors in Forensic Criminal Investigation and Philosophy of Law. While in law school, he served as Notes Editor for the Journal of Law, Technology and Policy; in 2013 he placed first in the statewide mock trial tournament; thereafter, he was selected to coach the team for the following two years. Mr. Park also externed with the Federal Public Defender for the Central District of Illinois and Federal Appellate Defender Program in Urbana, Illinois.
