Dwayne I. Lewis, II is an associate in the Dallas office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  His practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation with emphasis on medical malpractice, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and other long term care facilities, professional liability defense, employment law, general liability, first-party property claims, and premises liability.  Mr. Lewis’ achievements have been recognized by his peers and he was selected as a “Rising Star” by Thompson Reuters and Published in Texas Monthly and Super Lawyers, Rising Stars Edition, April 2019.

Prior to joining QPWB, he was an associate with a Dallas, Texas law firm handling all aspects of civil litigation in state and federal courts at both trial and appellate levels in matters involving healthcare, employment law and commercial disputes.

Mr. Lewis received his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law in May 2015 and Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University, Rawls College of Business in May 2012, graduating with a major in finance.  During law school, he served the Law Review on the Executive Board of Editors and was selected a semi-finalist and chosen Best Oralist during the moot court competitions.  Mr. Lewis also served as a judicial intern with the Second Court of Appeals of Texas and the 68th State District Court of Texas.

Mr. Lewis is licensed to practice law in Texas and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
