Anika N. Boyce is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice on insurance defense, general liability, motor vehicle liability, premises liability, slip and fall claims, wrongful death matters and catastrophic injury arising from various alleged torts, negligent security, and other negligence and tort claims.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Boyce was an attorney with an Orlando civil defense litigation law firm. She worked on personal injury cases involving automobile accidents, premises liability actions and other claims. She also served as Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida in Orange County. Ms. Boyce worked on criminal cases ranging from misdemeanor to first degree felonies, she filed motions to suppress evidence, handled plea negotiations and worked with investigators.
Ms. Boyce received her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in May 2016 and a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Florida A&M University in May 2013, graduating with a major in English and a minor in criminal justice. While in law school, Ms. Boyce was a member of the FSU Mock Trial Team and served in various mock trial competitions, she also served as president of the Black Law Students Association.
Before entering law school, Ms. Boyce was selected to intern for Senator Arthenia Joyner at the Florida State Capital.
Ms. Boyce is licensed to practice law in Florida.
Her professional affiliations include, the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association: Membership Chair, Community Service Committee, and Mentorship Program for FAMU Law School. She is also a member of the Black Law Students Association and serves as a Law Mentor.
