Jennifer C. Perez is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Her practice focuses on defense of first party and third party insurance coverage disputes.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mrs. Perez gained significant and versatile litigation and appellate experience. She has prepared cases for trial in first party property damage, employment discrimination, wrongful death, and slip and fall cases. She has defended appellate cases before the Third District Court of Appeals of Florida, which were all ultimately affirmed in favor of her clients.
Mrs. Perez received her Juris Doctor from Penn State Law in May 2010, graduating in the top 18% of her class. There, she competed as a moot court member for the 2010 Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. During law school, she worked as an intern for former Chief Judge, Sylvia Rambo, at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She also worked as a certified legal intern with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission's Office of Trial Staff, and as an advocate for the Center for Immigrant’s Rights.
She earned her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University. She doubled majored in Psychology and Philosophy and double minored in English and Criminology. Based on her achievements at Florida State, Mrs. Perez earned a Dean’s Tuition Scholarship Award to attend Penn State Law.
Ms. Perez is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar.
She is fluent in Spanish.
