Jordan D. Ballew is an associate in the Scottsdale, Arizona office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  She focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice and long-term care defense, premises liability, automotive liability and personal injury; and defends employers and carriers in workers’ compensation claims.

Ms. Ballew received her Juris Doctor from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in May 2019 and Bachelor of Science from Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania in May 2015, graduating with a major in criminal justice and minor in sociology.  As a law student, she was a student member of the Women’s Law Association and received the Willard H. Pedrick Scholar of Academic Excellence in the spring of 2019, graduating with High Pro Bono Distinction. 

While in law school, she was a certified limited practice student to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and held a position with the City of Scottsdale Prosecutor’s Office advocating on behalf of the state and negotiating pre-trial conferences. Ms. Ballew also worked with a regional criminal defense firm assisting with trial preparation and motion practice.  

Prior to attending law school Ms. Ballew served as a legislative liaison to a large lobbying and public relations firm; as a legal intern to the United States Attorney’s Office; and as a legal liaison intern to a congressman. 

She is licensed to practice law in Arizona.
