Leslie Ann L. Dunn is an associate in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  She focuses on commercial litigation, general liability and insurance defense, personal injury and casualty matters, subrogation actions related to property damage, automobile accidents and other claims, employment discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, FLSA audits, workers’ compensation defense and has extensive experience handling contract collection litigation.

Ms. Dunn commenced her legal career as an associate with a Georgia law firm specializing in police misconduct actions and claims that arise under the Civil Rights Act Section 1983. Since then, she has also represented every major insurance company and many of Atlanta's major corporations in her areas of practice which include personal and commercial liability, employment law, contract law, workers’ compensation claims and criminal law. And for over 20 years, has also represented major national telecommunications, advertising and publishing companies in contract collection litigation.

 For over a decade, Ms. Dunn has served as appearance counsel for commercial collections for a national telecommunications carrier and has tried hundreds of cases, and presented argument before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court including presenting two petitions for writ of certiorari to the US Supreme Court.

She has extensive experience participating as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and jury trials; has received two defense verdicts pertaining to automobile liability; has presented oral argument before the Georgia Court of Appeals on workers’ compensation claims; and has obtained a reversal of denial of summary judgment in a premises liability action.

Appellate cases argued before the Georgia Court of Appeals:

Habersham Venture, Ltd. v. Breedlove 244 Ga. App. 407 (2000).

Barnes v. City of Atlanta Police Department, 219 Ga. App. 139 (1995).

Ms. Dunn received her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law, Malibu, California in 1993 and a Bachelor of Arts in 1990 from The College of William & Mary in Virginia, where she graduated with a major in music and performed as a concert soloist with the school’s symphonic band. While in law school, she participated in the moot court competitions and the negotiation and mediation tournaments. She was selected for internships with the Ventura County District Attorney, California and the DeKalb County Public Defender in Decatur, Georgia. 

Ms. Dunn is licensed to practice law in Georgia and is an inactive member of The Florida Bar and the State Bar of California.

She conducts training seminars for professionals and claims representatives on Georgia law and advises on strategy for handling workers’ compensation and personal injury claims

Ms. Dunn is a member of the Alpharetta Symphony Orchestra, a non-profit community orchestra in Alpharetta, Georgia.  Besides practicing law, she is a classical musician and an online adjunct instructor of business law classes.
